Hey, did I see that ...Sounds like an amazing ride!
Hey, did I see that bridge recently in a horse magazine? I can't remember which one, maybe in an Arabian one, The Modern Arabian? I am not sure if it is called that. But I swear they did an article on a bridge that the Tevis riders go on. That looks like it. I could be imagining things.
That river looks awesome! I bet it felt good, with it being so hot!
I'd love to ride that trail!Paint Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05095673661149903754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963277636652034473.post-47717922413635929982009-06-29T11:58:01.780-07:002009-06-29T11:58:01.780-07:00Crysta - I e-mailed you about the saddle.
After o...Crysta - I e-mailed you about the saddle.

After only hearing how hard the trail is, I'm really excited to discover that there is going to be portions that are really nice for making up some time on. I think I've cemented my plan to let her fly down the canyons at whatever safe speed she wants (controlled trot) and tail up. Hopefully that leaves me enough horse to really get going after Foresthill.

Another thing that is so good about pre-riding the trail is so I can realize how "long" some of the trail sections seem. Even though it seems like I'm very close to the finish, I'll still need to make good time at places like quarry road, no hands bridge, etc.Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16627065628317652042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963277636652034473.post-59003984914305120962009-06-29T11:15:49.617-07:002009-06-29T11:15:49.617-07:00Congrats on the pre-ride.
