(that's how I carry my fixed blade knife - holster with clip on a elastic velcro band on my upper arm. Why can't they make phone cases like this???????????). AND if they make something I wish (please please please) they would make it to fit a smart phone (flat rectangle) instead of the old style flip fat phones. I'm envisioning a neoprene/stretchy fabric that overlaps like an oldfashion coin purse? that is attached to a variable length strap? Longer for people that want to put it around their thigh, smaller for an arm band? Or even just put a big ole FLAT secure clip on the back of the "stretchy phone envelope" that would clip to waistband of my tights without bouncing off or causing a bloody sore on my hip. The problem with waist packs is that they make my abs cramp - it's something about how my muscles want to tense against something in the area. :(. I'm thinking now that a secure thing on my wrist wouldn't be so bad. I can run with an ipod in my hand, so its similar.......The problem is most of these sorts of packs etc work OK on shorter rides, but the longer rides that I'm going further away from home for longer periods of time is probably the times I need to carry the phone more. It's sort of like the helmet delimina for ride and tie - risk versus benefit. In both it *could* save my life. But in both there is an inconvience. The difference being I wont' suffer heat exhuastion from wearing the phone....so the benefit more than the cost I thinketh!!!!! If I come up with a good idea I'll blog about it. I'm just really at a loss for something easy that won't irritate me to the point where I go into hulk mode and rip the thing off and leave it on the trail, or put it on the saddle - or that it's secure enough not to go flying out of the holder (has happend to every single arm band I've tried....). I need a brilliant idea........Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16627065628317652042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963277636652034473.post-73723865653689365672013-12-22T20:00:13.409-08:002013-12-22T20:00:13.409-08:00phone + helmet. Maybe we should suggest t...phone + helmet. Hmmmm.

Maybe we should suggest that to American Trail and see what they come up with as a solution!AareneXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18072169739345465380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963277636652034473.post-3209295295755419642013-12-22T19:09:02.451-08:002013-12-22T19:09:02.451-08:00I have that barefoot medallion necklace and love i...I have that barefoot medallion necklace and love it! For carrying your phone, how about one of the thin waist packs? Not as convenient for pulling the phone out, but keeps it out of the way. I use this one: http://www.ridingwarehouse.com/EasyCare_Stowaway_Utility_Waist_Pack_Black/descpage-ECSUB.html and it's low profile enough to not bounce, interfere with the saddle, and doesn't even show up under a t-shirt. Fits an iPhone (with thick cover), credit card/id holder, and car keys.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720090581233703530noreply@blogger.com
