Yes, you are seeing that correctly. Very odd injury - it goes through her hoof, all the way up the back of her pastern. It doesn't seem to cause her any discomfort and I've never had an issue with it. The ironic thing is that of all 4 feet, I consider that one the furthest along in terms of convacity, frog development etc!

Did she have an injury on the right hind heel? It looks like a scar that has effected the hoof growth a little. Am I seeing that correctly?
