Tevis Video '09 Posted - Website update

Finally, after almost a year of trying various imbeds and downloads and links.....I found a way to put the video on the website!

Tevis '09 Video

Many thanks to Fuzzy Productions, which is owned by my brother, Tristan. His Youtube channel can be found here. (or search for "fuzzygeekproductions"). He got his new camera the day before Tevis 2009. Whew! He just got the 2010 video done yesterday and I'm previewing it today - so look for it to be posted sometime this week.

I really liked having a non-horsey person be the one to create and edit the video. If I had done it, it would have been twice as long and extremely boring. As a non-horsey person he was able to edit it for general interest.

  2. My brother was in high school when he did this and he worked so hard on it. I'm so proud of him and I feel lucky to have someone willing to do this for me.

I previewed the '10 movie today and almost started to bawl during the last footage of me and Farley walking around the stadium doing our victory lap and then crossing the finish line. It took all my self control (and looking away and taking deep breaths) not to just totally break down. It didn't mean that much to me at the time. I was nauseous, tired, and just wanted it to be over. But now, the moment just completely overwelms me. I'm looking forward to sharing the new one! It just needs a few more tweaks and it will be ready to go.
