Bah Humbug!

The Amazon order of my water bottle pack was suppose to come YESTERDAY, thanks to discounted student amazon prime membership with free 2 day shipping. For the first time, Amazon/UPS has FAILED me. According to the tracking information that package is at my front door TODAY, RIGHT NOW. Which is day 3. Of course, I'm in Davis heading to Salinas and there it will sit until I can grab it on Thursday. Bah.

And I bought the BEST earrings that are totally horse related from a local artist and craftperson that appreciates the barefoot horse and I KNOW they are sitting in the house mail box, which is locked, and I don't have a key for. Because most of my stuff comes to a PO Box, I don't actually have a key to the house mail box, and Matt gives me whatever comes to house. Which works out wonderfully until he works FOUR HOURS AWAY Monday thru Friday and my EARRINGS ARE IN THE FREAKIN' BOX. Bah.

According to my therapist my problem is I don't resolve feelings and internalize them....so, in case you couldn't guess, this is how I really feel.

I WANT MY PACK AND MY FREAKIN' EARRING RIGHT NOW AND I'M REALLY UPSET THAT I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. BAH HUMBUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And to top it off, And I'm getting my butt kicked in "words and friends" (wanna start a game with me? my user name is "polo_ponie"), and I don't get to ride Tevis this year, and I have oodles of cardio reading to do.

Back to remembering the good things that happened yesterday and today. Like the fact I got a great ride on Farley. And I'm dressed in my favorite tights. And I've lost 9 pounds in the last month and feel fabulous. and I got to meet Ashely, and Tess thinks I'm the best thing in the world, and I have a cooler of awesome food for my traveling.....

  1. You make me smile. Are you sure we aren't sisters? Cuz I'm increasingly convinced that we are...

  2. Lol. This comment made me smile. I've never fit in anywhere in my entire life until started endurance riding and blogging.

  3. I'm pretty jealous of those vanished pounds. Hey--as Aarene always says, life is good-- and if you feel fabulous, things can't be too depressing (!)
